We also understand that weddings can be a significant investment. That’s why we offer a range of packages to suit what you’re looking for: from long-form cinematic videography to short-form highlights with smartphone content creation. Want it all covered seamlessly? We also offer combined videography and content creation packages, with one team working in harmony to capture everything naturally, without competing for “the perfect shot.” No matter the lens or the budget, we take immense pride in delivering work of the highest quality.

What is a content creator?
A content creator captures your day using a high-quality smartphone, focusing on natural, behind the scenes moments. This approach feels relaxed and less intrusive for you and your guests. You’ll receive all raw, unedited footage alongside social-media-ready highlight reels filmed in portrait format and delivered within just a few days.

What is a videographer?
A videographer uses professional equipment including dedicated cameras, lenses, and lighting to capture your day with maximum clarity and depth. Footage is typically filmed in landscape and edited into a longer, cinematic film that tells the full story of your wedding. Because of the detailed editing process, final films take longer to be delivered. However at Spotlight Socials, we also provide a “teaser tape” within 72 hours, giving you a beautiful preview to enjoy while you wait.
Would you recommend having both?
If it is within your budget, absolutely! The two can work alongside each other beautifully.
A content creator captures the candid, in-the-moment details and delivers them quickly, so you can relive and share your day almost instantly. A videographer, on the other hand, creates a timeless, cinematic film that you’ll treasure for years to come.
What does RAW footage mean?
RAW footage is the unedited clips captured throughout your day perfect for reliving every moment or creating your own edits. All files are organised into folders and downloadable within 24 hours (unless further travel is required).

Why can I choose a song with my reels but not with my longer edit?
Due to music licensing rules, social platforms only allow a limited amount of popular music to be used before audio is muted. For shorter reels, we do our best to include your chosen song. For longer cinematic edits, licensed, royalty-free music is required so your film can be shared freely without restrictions.
Can we request specific shots or social media trends?
Yes! During your pre-wedding consultation, we’ll discuss any must-have styles you love so your content feels personal and true to you.
Do you travel?
Yes! We’re based in North West England and Wales, but we’re happy to travel nationwide upon request. Weddings outside our local area may be subject to a travel fee.
How do I book?
To book, simply get in touch with your wedding date, location, and package interest. Once availability is confirmed, we’ll send over our pricing brochure. A 25% non-refundable deposit secures your date, with final payment due 14 days before your wedding. Flexible payment plans are available on request.
What if I book drone footage and the weather is bad?
If you have booked drone footage, this is weather, venue and local airspace dependant, but we will do our best to achieve this for you or refund this element if not possible.
Will you work alongside our photographer and other suppliers?
Absolutely. We work seamlessly with photographers, planners, and venues to make sure everything runs smoothly and nothing feels intrusive.
Will our wedding video be shared on your social media?
We may share highlights from your day on our website or social platforms, but only if you’re happy for us to do so. If you’d prefer your content to remain private, just let us know - we completely respect this.
What happens if you’re unable to attend our wedding?
In the very unlikely event of illness or emergency, we have a trusted network of experienced creatives with TV backgrounds who can step in to ensure your day is still beautifully captured.
