Behind the Screens
Beth
From being hooked on TV screens at an early age, Beth always had her heart set on working in the industry. That interest started with Media Studies at school and led her to study BA Television & Radio at the University of Salford, where she graduated with First Class Honours. During her degree, she specialised in documentary production and received hands-on training in filming and editing, working with DSLRs through to broadcast-level Sony FS7 cameras and multi-camera studio setups, alongside extensive experience editing with different types of software.
After graduating, she began her career as a talent runner on Dragons’ Den and over the years progressed to Assistant Producer, working across a range of programmes including
Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, Love Island, The Great Pottery Throw Down, Wheel of Fortune and The Real Housewives of Cheshire. Much of her experience sat within editorial and casting, where she worked closely with contributors and focused on helping them feel confident and natural on camera. A proud moment was walking the red carpet as part of a team nominated at the Royal Television Awards.
As audiences increasingly move towards smaller-screen viewing, Beth transitioned from broadcast television into social content, founding Spotlight Socials with Rhiannon to bring her established production and people skills into a digital-first space.

Rhiannon
With a background in Fine Art and over 15 years of industry experience, Rhiannon has built her career around visual storytelling. She graduated with a First Class Fine Art degree, developing a strong eye for composition, lighting, and detail, and a deep appreciation for how visuals shape emotion and narrative.
Her career began in the wedding industry, where she worked hands-on across every role involved in bringing people’s big days to life. That immersive experience led her into luxury wedding video editing, honing her ability to capture natural moments and craft cinematic stories under pressure. From there, she transitioned into television, spending several years developing her craft and progressing through the industry, refining her editorial instincts and storytelling skills.
Now, having come full circle, Rhiannon brings together her experience in fine art, weddings, and television to create bold, thoughtful films for weddings, creatives, and businesses.
Collaboration sits at the heart of her work and she values open communication and works closely with both business and wedding clients to create films that feel intentional, authentic, and genuinely human.
